Twitter Promises to Not Change TweetDeck TweetDeck has been an incredibly successful Twitter app for both the desktop and iPhone. The iPhone app has been around for a long time, and has always been considered a client for the Twitter “power users” out there who want more control and management over their Twitter experience. Lot’s of business, celebrities, and companies use TweetDeck because of it’s almost “system control” design and feature style. TweetDeck handles lots of tweets, replies, DMs, etc. very well and is also an optimal client for viewing multiple Twitter lists and accounts. I originally thought that Twitter was buying TweetDeck has a counterattack against UberMedia’s growing share of the Twitter app market. It looks like the team at Twitter wanted TweetDeck’s employees more than anything, and the app itself shouldn’t be dissolved into the current official Twitter app.
