  1. Tomb Raider Raided: Denuvo DRM Allegedly Cracked Rise of the Tomb Raider [official site] might finally be cracked six months after its release. A step-by-step video showing a cracked copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider surfaced in Russia last week. It raises the question of whether or not pirates will finally be able to defeat Denuvo’s DRM security – protection so tough that some crackers said they were giving up. The crack has yet to be replicated, though, and it’s unlikely to happen any time soon. Denuvo say they can’t verify if the crack is real as there are no available to test, but they don’t seem to be too stressed about the whole ordeal. The DRM company toldEurogamer “only public available cracks are relevant as they harm the content owners business.” In fact, they seem to be perfectly satisfied with Rise of the Tomb Raider’s protection. “The general positioning of our product is ‘hard to crack’ and not ‘uncrackable’. For us it is important to secure the initial sales window of games, which worked out well on all the recent titles,” they confidently pointed out to PCGamesN. It’s doubtful that this marks the end of Denuvo’s impressive record against PC gaming piracy. Where games were once cracked sometimes weeks before they were released, big titles like Just Cause 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition have gone months post-launch without a pirated version. Pirates will always be out there on the high seas of the interwebs doing their thing, but they’re still struggling with breaking down Denuvo’s defenses. It’s possible they could find a more efficient solution in the future, yet it’s likely Denuvo is preparing for that reality. The technology is designed to evolve alongside any new methods devised to break through the DRM.

  4. AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB is BIOS unlockable to 8GB says report There were reports over the weekend of AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB graphics cards coming equipped with 8GB of GDDR5 RAM installed. However the BIOS used by these '4GB' cards only allowed access to half of the physically installed RAM. To get access to the full amount of RAM some enterprising 4GB graphics card users claim to have successfully flashed a retail RX 480 8GB card BIOS. In a Reddit AMA, AMD claimed that graphics cards sent to reviewers were fashioned this way so that reviewers could test both 4GB and 8GB versions of the RX 480, switching between the two via a BIOS flash. It asserted this ability was"restricted to review samples," says TechPowerUp (TPU). However the 'reviewer only' statement appears to be inaccurate as TPU tested one of its retail bought 4GB RX 480 cards and concluded "retail 4GB RX 480 can be flashed to 8GB, and the modified card performs on par with the 8GB variant". Remember that another difference with the AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB is its slightly slower memory clocks – also 'fixed' with the BIOS switch. To benefit from this 'something for nothing' upgrade, first of all an AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB user must confirm that their card has 8GB of RAM chips physically installed. That will be evidenced as 8x Samsung 8Gb chips on the PCB. Once you know you have the RAM capacity there, you can use ATIFlash 2.74 to flash an 8GB graphics card BIOS. In theory you should end up with a card that is identical to a retail 8GB one including the faster default memory clocks. Please be warned though: Disassembly of your card to check what memory chips are installed will probably void your warrantyFlashing the 'incorrect' BIOS will probably void your warrantyCompanies recommend that you never do any BIOS updates unless your hardware has a specific problem solved by the update. TPU tested its 'upgraded' RX 480 4GB and found it to perform slightly better than it did previously, on a par with a retail RX 480 8GB. To check that address space above and beyond 4GB was actually being used, the 'Memory Usage (dedicated)' graph of GPU-Z was monitored while playing a game of COD: Black Ops III at 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160). AMD Radeon RX 480 PCI-e power draw We are still awaiting an email from AMD regarding the Radeon RX 480 PCI-e over-current issue. We were emailed on Saturday and told that a progress update would be revealed on 5th July – so it's now overdue. Ką čia AMD daro iš 4gb į 8gb pasidaryk :D
  5. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB benchmarks appear online At the end of last week we published official looking leaked Nvidia presentation slides which crowed about the capabilities of the as yet unannounced GeForce GTX 1060 and directly compared the card to the new AMD Radeon RX 480. We had earlier had a hint at the GTX 1060's performance but the allegedly official slides drilled things down to show an approximate 15 per cent performance advantage over AMD's debut Polaris card. Now in the most revealing info leak yet, screenshots published by Chinese site XFastest, via Guru 3D, claim to show 3DMark Firestrike benchmark results of the GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB). The screens also include a GPU-Z window providing a smattering of important hardware info. We can clearly see key graphics card states like; a base/boost GPU clock of 1506MHz/1709MHz, 1280 shaders, 6GB of GDDR5 memory, 192-bit bus, offering bandwidth of 192.2GB/s. The system under test uses the key performance components of an Intel Core i7 6700K and, of course, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. Both the standard 3DMark Firestrike and 3DMark Firestrike Ultra were run on the system, resulting in scores of 11,225 and 3,014 respectively. For obvious comparison sake, the HEXUS test system used the same Intel Core i7-6700K (but overclocked to 4.4GHz), with the Radeon RX 480. AMD's new Polaris card achieved3DMark Firestrike and 3DMark Firestrike Ultra scores of 10,218 and 2,648 respectively. Previous information leaks pointed to a launch of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 on 7th July, followed by retail availability a week later, from 14th July. So perhaps we don't have long to wait to learn first of Nvidia's official rose-tinted views on the GTX 1060, with tech press hardware dissections coming in the wake of that event.

    Scorn

Kūrėjas: Ebb Software Leidėjas: Ebb Software Žaidimo variklis: Žanras: Action/Adventure Režimai: Išleidimo data: ---- -- -- Reitingas: Metacritic įvertinimas: Puslapis: It can take a lot for horror videogames to genuinely shock or unsettle in the visual department these days, but Scorn looks set to give it a good go. See, Scorn is an upcoming FPS horror game, and it looks fucking weird in the best possible way. What this title really has going for it is it’s deeply bizarre art style – the whole thing looks like it’s taking place inside a gigantic alien beast (or the inside HR Giger’s mind during a bad trip). Developer Ebb Software explains it best on the game’s Steam Greenlight page: Scorn is an atmospheric first person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry. It is designed around an idea of ‘being thrown into the world’. Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. The unsettling environment is a character itself. Ebb Software is attempting to create a cohesive ‘lived in’ world, in which you explore strange new areas, and acquire new skills and weapons along your way. Make no mistake – Scorn is beautifully designed, and quite unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Instead of a horror game set in an abandoned building/forest/post apocalyptic wasteland, we’re being thrown into something entirely new, and I have a feeling that sense of the unknown is where the real horror will come into play. Take a look at the trailer below for a better sense of what I’m getting at. The sound design complements the world beautifully to create something truly otherworldly. The enemies, environments, and even weapons all have a completely alien vibe. It doesn’t look like anything familiar or comforting (or human) will pop up on our travels in Scorn. Ebb Software is planning to release the game in two parts, with the first coming in early 2017. Unfortunately, it’s only confirmed for a PC release so far. Hopefully it does well and a console port ends up a reality, because this game looks like it could be truly special.

  12. Nvidia is reported to release a Pascal-based Titan GPU in August Nvidia is reported to release a Pascal-based Titan GPU in August at Gamescom 2016, offering around 50% more performance than Nvidia's GTX 1080 Founders Edition. Today VR World has announced that they have been able to get their hands on what will become the Next Nvidia Titan GPU, which will feature Nvidia's GP102 GPU core design. At this time it is rumored that GP100, the chip used in Nvidia's Tesla P100 GPU, and Nvidia's GP102 GPU core are essentially the same chip, with one chip name for the NV-link version and another for the PCIe version. Las month Nvidia announced the first PCIe-based versions of the Tesla P100, bringing Nvidia's largest Pascal GPU to traditional PCs with HBM2 memory and over 3500 CUDA cores. The PCIe based Tesla P100 GPUs are reported to have dual 8-pin or 8-pin + 6-pin PCIe power, giving these cards a max TDP of between 300W and 375W, with both GPUs being significantly longer than the existing GTX 1080. The PCIe Tesla P100 GPU will have a PCB that is 30cm long, marking a return to ultra long GPU designs. Below we have a table showing all of the Nvidia GTX GPUs with known specifications, showcasing the comparative specifications of the Tesla P100 series GPUs and the existing Pascal desktop lineup. The Tesla GPUs may not look that impressive when compared to the GTX 1080 in terms of compute performance but you must remember that the GP100 based workstation GPUs are running at lower clock speeds and are designed for accuracy over computational throughput. With the GP100 all GPUs will have 4 HBM2 memory chips, each of which is 4GB in capacity, though with Pascal Nvidia can disable these chips, allowing 12GB variants to be created. At this time we do not know if Nvidia will be releasing a Titan based on the full GP100 GPU core design or on a cut-down version with reduced VRAM capacity and without all SM units enabled. At this time Nvidia has not confirmed or denied that they are creating a Pascal Titan GPU based on their GP100 or GP102 silicon, so please take these rumors with a grain of salt. Right now AMD does not have a competitor for the Ultra-high-end market, so Nvidia does not need to release a new Titan GPU in order to remain on top. Hopefully, AMD's Vega will launch sooner rather than later as right now Nvidia do not have much reason to release new high-end GPUs. TESLA tikrai mes nepirksime, bet butu įdomu sužinoti ant kiek bus geresnė 1080Ti už 1080 Sakoma kad GTX Titan P bus galingesnė ant 50% už GTX1080 FE
