"So do we want players to jump over fireballs? Or is it okay to sidestep them? That’s something we’re not decided on, we haven’t had enough time to look into it. "We have a lot of staff, myself included, who grew up liking Street Fighter. I'm really confident that we can come to a good balance between the two worlds," he concluded.

The latest two titles, confirmed by NintendoWorldReport, are part of a list of 20 free games that form a part of the company's peace-making 3DS Ambassador programme. As Nintendo prepare to price-drop the 3DS, the Ambassador programme is Nintendo's offering for early adopters who've already shelled out the extra cash. "Although we may not be able to completely prevent you from regretting purchasing Nintendo 3DS early, we would like to express our gratitude to our special customers like you," Nintendo stated, announcing the Ambassador programme last week. Ten Game Boy Advance and ten NES titles will be made available free via download. Already confirmed: Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong on GBA. These GBA game downloads will be exclusive to 3DS Ambassador Programme members - Nintendo has no plans to release them to anyone else. Armored Core V, the misspelled mech action title from Demon's Souls developer From Software, has been pushed back from a planned October release to January 2012 in Japan, the developer has announced. According to Siliconera, the extra time is to allow the studio to implement changes suggested during a recent closed beta test. The title was due to arrive on these shores in early 2012. "For the 3DS, I wanted to do an [super Street Fighter IV:] Arcade Edition version, but I haven't had a chance to do that because of all the other things I'm up to," he said. "At the company, we're debating should we go for an AE port on 3DS? Should we skip that and go straight to Street Fighter x Tekken? There are a lot of things up in the air, so I can't say for sure what our next 3DS project will be." Ono added that he wanted to ensure that 3DS Street Fighter fans are "being taken care of". "We just don't want to drop a game on them and run away. We'd like to keep the community going, communicate with them, and listen to their requests."

The book, Battlefield 3: The Russian, tells the story of Dmitri Mayakovsky - a character you'll bump into in the game. Both book and Battlefield 3 game will be released on the same day - 25th October. More than just adding back story, McNab believes accompanying fiction can help encourage gamers to put down the pad and pick up the pages. "The crossover between game and book is nothing new, but if you look at - and this wasn't the reason why - Western numeracy and literacy levels of teenagers, they're atrocious," Andy McNab told Eurogamer as part of an interview published today. There are other characters whose stories could also be spun into books. "Yeah, totally, totally," said McNab. "It needs to be a story running along parallel with the game. It's looking at the game from another point of view, which hopefully gives the game more context and is, hopefully, just as enjoyable as the game."
