Taigi šis daug žadantis žaidimas nukeliamas į 2012 metus...gaila,labai gaila Info PlayStation 3 car combat revival Twisted Metal has been pushed back from its planned October launch to "early 2012", Eat Sleep Play co-founder David Jaffe has announced. According to a post from the big man over on the PlayStation Blog, publisher Sony has graciously given the developer "the extra time needed to polish our demented baby until it shines." "There's a great, classic industry saying by legendary Nintendo designer – and personal hero – Shigeru Miyamoto," Jaffe added, "that goes a little something like this: 'A late game is only late until it ships. A bad game is bad until the end of time.' "Now, if we shipped Twisted Metal tomorrow – going off the response from folks who have played it – I assure you, it would never be a bad game. Not even close. But we're aiming for a heck of a lot more than that! "With Twisted Metal we plan to ship a multiplayer classic. We plan to ship the best Twisted Metal ever made. We plan to convert a lot of folks who think vehicle combat is a relic best left to '90s nostalgia. And we plan to explode the belief that the only relevant kind of shooter is a first person one. "Most importantly, we plan on treating you – the kind folks who play our game (and pay our bills) – like the VIPs that you are. You only deserve our best and we appreciate your understanding as we take a little more time to guarantee that our best is what we deliver."

Ne į temą Street Fighter kūrėjas pasakoja apie savo idėją Mortal Kombat V.S. Street Fighter, ir kodėl taip neiįvyko...išties įdomus straipsniukas Straipsnis Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono has explained why Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are unlikely bedfellows. "I actually get a lot of requests for Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat on my Twitter feed and elsewhere," Ono told the US PlayStation blog. "I understand why people want it, but it's easier said than done. Having Chun Li getting her spine ripped out, or Ryu's head bouncing off the floor... it doesn't necessarily match." Fighting game fans have wondered about a Street Fighter Mortal Kombat crossover game for years. In 2008 Mortal Kombat chief Ed Boon revealed he tried to make Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter happen but "ran into a road block". Boon contacted Street Fighter publisher Capcom in the past to try and get Sub Zero and co facing off against Ryu and Ken. "We made phone calls," he said. "But Capcom is in Japan, and with the distance, there's communication gaps and what not. It just never panned out. It would have been very cool. I'm a fan of the other fighting genres and stuff like that. I just thought it would be a cool novelty to have. "I've always wanted to cross MK over since about MK4, or something like that. I'm a big fan of all of the other fighting games, Street Fighter, Tekken. I always thought, wouldn't it be cool to have MK vs. SF and MK vs. Tekken? We pursued some of those ideas to the extent we could but we always ran into some kind of road block and couldn't do it." More likely, perhaps, is Marvel vs. DC, which Ono described as a "dream project". It "would be pretty damned cool if we could ever pull it off," Ono said. "I'm a big comic-book fan. Now if I can get the presidents of those two companies in the same room shaking hands, then we could get something started. I'd love to see that just as a fan!" Until then, crossover fighting game fans will have to make do with Street Fighter x Tekken, due out next year.

Taigi tie kostiumai kuriuos žaidėjai gali gauti pre-ordindami žaidimą,vėliau bus prieinami DLC pavidalu... info apie šiuos kostiumus.. Rocksteady has confirmed to Eurogamer that the full range of Batman: Arkham City skins being divvied up between retailers as pre-order bonuses will become available to all later on as DLC. "The offer that we're making out with retailers for gamers is, this is an early access opportunity for you," Rocksteady's marketing manager Dax Ginn told us in London yesterday. "Absolutely down the track [the skins] will be available more broadly." Six Batman skins were detailed earlier this week, with the Caped Crusader available in a variety of flavours, from 1970s to The Dark Knight Returns. There's no word yet on what they'll cost or when they might appear as DLC. Ginn also revealed that Rocksteady was planning another big announcement for the title at Gamescom later this month. Eurogamer will be there when they do.

Ubisoft labai patenkinti From Dust pardavimais ir uzsakymais...mmm lauksiu PC versijos,o PS3 versija jau tuoj Info Eric Chahi's eye-catching god simulation From Dust has broken publisher Ubisoft's day one digital download sales record. The Xbox 360 game broke record digital sales after launching on 27th July. It had the highest first day sales of any Xbox Live Arcade game that Ubisoft has ever released, with sales approximately 45 per cent higher than Ubisoft's previous best-selling XBLA release - a game the French publisher failed to disclose. Was it Beyond Good & Evil HD, or perhaps Scott Pilgrim vs. the World? Ubisoft today said pre-orders of the PC version of From Dust, which goes on sale on 17th August, are "tracking very well". The PlayStation Network version "will be available soon", Ubisoft said.

Ne į temą Knygų manija tęsiasi...Ico gauna savo knygą... Info A book inspired by PlayStation 2 game Ico launches this month. It's called Ico: The Castle in the Mist, costs just under a tenner and goes on sale on 16th August from Viz Media. "A boy with horns, marked for death," reads the synopsis. When, on a single night in his thirteenth year, Ico's horns grow long and curved, he knows his time has come. But why does the Castle in the Mist demand this offering, and what will Ico do with the girl imprisoned within the Castle’s walls?" Ico: The Castle in the Mist. Informacija apie šio nepasisekusio projekto bėdas, kurios tęsiasi iki šių dienų Straipsnis Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is suing Activision over 2009 music game Band Hero. Levine is upset that the game allows users to make his motion-captured avatar sing other artists' songs, according to Reuters. When this is done, the voices of the artists behind the songs being played are heard – meaning Levine's avatar can sometimes pump out a female singing voice. Levine also claims he wasn't paid as much as other artists who appeared in the game. This isn't the first time Activision's suffered a lawsuit over Band Hero. In 2009 No Doubt sued Activision over the use of their avatars in the Guitar Hero spin-off. Gwen Stefani and co said they gave permission for their avatars to perform three of their own songs only. "Without the band's knowledge or approval, Activision turned the group into virtual karaoke players by having them perform over 60 additional songs by other musical groups," said the band's lawyers. No Doubt requested this be changed, but claimed Activision refused, saying the change would be "too expensive". Also in 2009 Courtney Love threatened to sue Activision after it was discovered Kurt Cobain's avatar could be used to perform any song - not just Nirvana's - once unlocked in Guitar Hero 5. Eurogamer's Band Hero review sang a 6/10. "Band Hero is a technically solid product pitched at a demographic that does presumably exist - people who don't like Guitar Hero's music, but still want to play along - but it sets a dangerous precedent," wrote Keza. "Where Guitar Hero 5 hauled the series up to a quality plateau, adding a load of features that fans of the series can really appreciate, Band Hero is nothing more or less than a reskin. And even though it's a reskin of a superb game, the lack of concern for the credibility of the music and presentation can't help but cheapen it."

Regis, kad WII konsolė taipogi gaus savo MW3 versiją Info Call of Duty: Black Ops creator Treyarch is developing the recently revealed Wii version of Modern Warfare 3. "The Wii has grown so much as a platform," Infinity Ward's creative strategist Robert Bowling told One of Swords. "The great thing is Treyarch proved that you can have an awesome experience on the Wii with Call of Duty. They'll actually be handling that for Modern Warfare 3." The veteran Call of Duty studio has plenty of experience working on the Nintendo console. It picked up Wii development duties for Infinity Ward's first Modern Warfare and created Wii versions of its own World at War and Black Ops. The existence of a Modern Warfare 3 for Wii first came to light earlier this week. Company exec Eric Hirshberg told investors Activision had decided a version for Nintendo fans was necessary "so as not to leave any of the community out of the excitement". Activision plans to launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for Wii alongside its PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 brothers on 8th November.

Taigi istorija kartojasi kaip su PSP VITA,Japonija šį žaidimą gaus gruodį, o mes 2012 metų pradžioje... Info Square Enix has pegged Final Fantasy XIII-2 for release in Europe in "early 2012". In its latest financial results, the Japanese company offered a more specific launch timeframe for the US: January 2012, suggesting we'll get FFXIII-2 after North American gamers. In Japan the game goes on sale in December 2011. Wii compilation Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Collection and PlayStation Portable spin-off Final Fantasy Type-0 have release dates – but only for Japan. Will both games make it to these shores? If they do, it appears they will do so after 31st March 2012. Current speculation points to Type-0 being re-jigged for launch on PlayStation Vita or as a PlayStation 3 Remaster for release in the West. Noticeably absent from the release schedule is the long-awaited PlayStation 3 exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which suggests it won't launch in Japan until after 31st March 2012. Last month Versus XIII director Tetsuya Nomura said development on the PS3 game, which was announced five years ago, was still limited to a "core" section of workers, though that group was now prepping the project for full production.
