Silent Hill: Downpour has been delayed, Konami has confirmed. It launches during the first quarter of 2012 - so at some point January to March. Downpour, the eighth Silent Hill game, was due out in November on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The newest entries to Gran Turismo 5's garage have been revealed, with 15 new vehicles coming to the game through next week's downloadable content. The Racing Pack, which goes live on PSN on October 18, features a selection of thoroughbred vehicles with a heavy emphasis on touring cars. An updated version of the fictional Red Bull prototype, designed by Adrian Newey, also features, joined at the lesser end of the power spectrum by three new karts. Gran Turismo 5's downloadable content comes nearly a year after the game released, and follows quickly on from the launch of Spec 2.0 which introduces a raft of improvements. The first set of DLC for Duke Nukem Forever launches on 11th October, Gearbox has announced. The Hail to the Icons Parody Pack, which includes four new multiplayer maps for the maligned shooter, sells for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 or your local equivalent of $9.99 on PlayStation Network and PC. However, if you're a member of the First Access Club, you get it for free. In addition to the DLC, there'll be a new update going live on the same day for all platforms that fixes a few bugs.

Sandbox cowboy game Red Dead Redemption is unlikely to launch on PC, Rockstar has said. In a Max Payne 3 Q&A on its website the company said that despite Red Dead Redemption's absence, PC gamers have a lot to get on with when it comes to Rockstar games. "We hope that with the announcement that L.A. Noire is coming to PC this fall, and the knowledge that our next big game Max Payne 3 will have a PC release (plus that we've released both Grand Theft Auto IV and the Episodes from Liberty City for PC), we can finally put to rest any misconceptions that we've 'abandoned the PC platform'," Rockstar said. "We do know that, yes, there is just one title absent from our PC release plans - that game of course being Red Dead Redemption, and of course we're well aware that some fans have been asking for it. All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) - we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms. "To PC gamers, we hope that between the Grand Theft Auto titles, and the forthcoming L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3, you'll have plenty of great Rockstar action to enjoy."

A new villain for Batman: Arkham City has been revealed. Confirmation comes from a new video, from Sony Computer Entertainment US show Qore, that shows the Mad Hatter in Arkham City. A screenshot, courtesy of NeoGAF, shows the Hatter flanked by what may be goons loyal to the supervillain - wearing rabbit masks. Fans are speculating that Mad Hatter's inclusion in the game may indicate it features a sequence similar to the Scarecrow sequence from the first Rocksteady-developed Batman game. In the video, which is now on YouTube, supervillain Poison Ivy is also seen. Mad Hatter turns up on the 3 minutes 38 seconds mark. Resident Evil: Revelations staggers onto 3DS on 27th January 2012, Nintendo has announced. The platform holder will be handling sales, marketing and distribution of the game in Europe, though Capcom will still get a publisher credit. The first all-new Resi adventure since 2009's opinion-splitting Resident Evil 5, Revelations promises a return to the series' scare-orientated haunted house roots. Set between the events of Resi 4 and Resi 5, it sees franchise regulars Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine hopping around Europe investigating a bioterrorist threat, with new partners Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat in tow. Alongside the series' traditional zombie blasting gameplay, you can also expect touch screen puzzles and inventory management. The game will be compatible with Nintendo's recently announced circle pad add-on, though a UK release date for that is yet to be confirmed.

Purported plot details from Dead Space 3 have leaked, detailing returning hero Isaac Clarke's deteriorating mental state. EA's threequel will see the beleaguered engineer haunted by a secondary personality, according to fresh info from Siliconera. Dubbed "Shadow Isaac", the apparition will haunt players throughout the game - similar to how Clarke's dead girlfriend Nicole popped up in Dead Space 1 and 2. It's unclear whether Clarke is going insane or suffering the hallucinogenic effects of another alien "Marker". Regardless, Clarke's shadow will be a constant presence throughout the game, taunting him for his failures. Siliconera's source previously shared information on Dead Space 3's setting - a frozen planet named Tau Volantis. The latest leak suggests Isaac will travel there to escape arrest by futuristic military police EarthGov, presumably due to the events of Dead Space 2. Dead Space 3 has yet to be formally announced by EA, although the publisher has made reference to a third Dead Space instalment, and TV cameras spotted a Dead Space 3 logo during a recent EA studio tour.
