Nenustebčiau, jeigu tai bus tiesa scalmanai, kai kuriuos žaidimus tikrai varžo tie 8,5GB talpos diskai, bet namanau, kad kažkokį jau labai didelį skirtumą pajus kurios nors konsolės turėtojai,be to kas trukdo kūrėjams panaudoti 2ar 3 diskus?ne vienas gi žaidimas jau buvo padarytas iš kelių dvd...

    Witcher 2

The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition launches worldwide for Xbox 360 on 17th April, developer CD Projekt has announced. The developer has added a raft of new features and insists it's the "most polished and definitive version of the game". Here's a summary of what you can expect from the console release: New CGI intro sequence 33 minutes of new cinematics Four additional hours of gameplay Two new adventures New characters New locations Revamped intelligent camera system New target locking system Improved Character Panel New panels navigation bar More responsive control system The game, priced at £44.99, comes on two discs and also includes a quest handbook, official soundtrack and world map. If all that's not enough, CD Projekt is also offering a deluxe Dark Edition for £59.99. That comes in a handsome special edition box and adds an art book, three stickers, a medallion and a 'making of' DVD. A PC version of the Enhanced Edition also launches on 17th April, while all those who already own the game get all the new additional content via a free update on the same day. Both editions are available for pre-order now, with various different retailers offering additional extras, including T-shirts, avatars, keyrings and a comic book. On top of all that, the original PC version is now on sale at 15 per cent off via GOG. Pick it up at the discounted price and you can grab the new content via the aforementioned update in April.
  10. Long-in-the-offing shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines has been delayed from this Spring until some time in the Autumn, Sega has announced. A statement from the publisher handed to Eurogamer explained that developer Gearbox Software needs a little more time to finish things up. "Aliens: Colonial Marines is a process of creativity and invention and those don't necessarily follow the structure of an assembly line. While setting clear goals, deadlines and predictions is helpful, they are often subjective. "We don't want to sacrifice the creative process just for the sake of following a blue print. We prefer to have the creative discovery shape that blue print because our goal is to make a great game, and we are prioritising this goal over the previously targeted date." The game was first announced way, way back in 2006. What's a few more months, eh? To be fair, Gearbox has plenty on its plate right now, what with this, Borderlands 2 and Brothers in Arms: Furious 4.

    Tomb Raider

Crystal Dynamics has explained why PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game Tomb Raider will not release on Wii U. Global brand director Karl Stewart said development on the hotly-anticipated reboot began long before the announcement of the Wii U - and it wouldn't be right to simply port the game to Nintendo's tablet-fuelled Wii successor. "When we started developing the game we made a conscious decision that it was all about building the game for a platform and making sure the game was specific to that platform," Stewart told the Crystal Habit Podcast (via the Eidos forum. "Given that we've been working on the game quite a while before Wii U was announced I think it would not be right to try and port it across. If we started building a game for the Wii U we would build it very differently and we would build it with unique functionality." The game will, however, launch on Mac. Eidos is in discussions with a company to bring it to the platform, but Stewart was unable to guarantee it will launch alongside the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions' confirmed global simultaneous release - expected this year.
  16. A boxed version of Alan Wake on PC will launch on these shores. Publisher Nordic Games has snapped up the distribution rights to the Remedy-developed thriller and will sell a boxed version that includes The Signal and The Writer DLC. It releases in February. An exact release date will be announced soon. Alan Wake on PC was announced last month for launch on digital platform Steam during the first quarter of 2012.
