Setting
Set in the same continuity as the Batman Arkham games, about five years after the events of Arkham Knight. Suicide Squad is about the titular squad of captured villains that make up Task Force X, Amanda Waller's team of makeshift commandos forced to do her dirty work that the heroes can't or won't be allowed to solve, kept in line with subdermal explosives that will detonate if they try to escape or revolt.
In this game, the Suicide Squad of Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark, are sent into Metropolis on a top-secret mission. During their mission, the squad discovers that Brainiac has invaded Earth and has brainwashed several members of the Justice League including Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and The Flash, to do his bidding. With a reluctant Wonder Woman's help, the squad must free the Justice League from Brainiac's control, and stop Brainiac himself before he finishes taking over Metropolis, and then the world.
Gameplay
A third-person shooter with a bunch of colored loot and a paid battle pass system that the developers claim will only be used for cosmetics.
