MSI has issued a press release about its presence at this year’s Computex, and revealed that Final Fantasy Type-0 will be coming to the PC (and will be showcased running on its new laptops). As the press release reads, Square Enix will work with MSI to have a global launch of their latest game Final Fantasy Type-0 at MSI’s COMPUTEX booth.

Final Fantasy Type-0 will be demonstrated on MSI GS60 Red version and GS70 Silver version. Both models are described as lightweight laptops with fancy color design and incredible gaming power.

According to the press release, Final Fantasy Type-0 brings an immersive world, memorable characters and the production value known of the series, together with high quality gameplay and storytelling truly worthy of the Final Fantasy name.

“Step into the fray as Class Zero, a group of students from an elite military academy whose country is attacked by an aggressive neighboring Empire. In the brutal and harrowing struggle that follows, you must engage a range of powerful magical and combat abilities using a new battle system, to conquer the Empire and uncover the secrets behind the battle.”

Square Enix has not officially announced anything about a PC version of Final Fantasy Type-0.

After releasing earlier this year for consoles, PC players looking to jump into the re-release Final Fantasy Type-0 HD only have a few more weeks to wait, as the PC version of the title will release in August.

Publisher Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will release for PC on August 18th, 2015, and will bring along with it an abundance of new features for the game’s release through Steam for the PC.

In addition to bringing over the HD re-release from the console version released this past spring, the PC version will also “bring a selection of updated features including an improved in-game battle camera, full Steam achievements and trading cards, scalable motion blur settings and a customizable dynamic screen shot mode.”

The PC version for Type-0 HD will also bring over enhanced in-game settings such as increased blood levels, character speed boosts, full support for controllers and gamepads, and will also provide “upgraded graphics resolution options” for higher-end PCs.
