Pilot hulking death machines and use massive weaponry to destroy your foes in fast-paced FPS gameplay. HAWKEN is a multiplayer first person shooter that places you inside a mechanized war machine on the battlefield of a dystopian world. With tactical, fast-paced gameplay in customizable and upgradable mechs across multiple competitive modes, HAWKEN is explosively fun. Features 26 mechs, 9 environments and 6 game modes including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Missile Assault, Siege, Coop Bot Destruction, and Coop vs AI Team Deathmatch modes.

You may notice that I haven't listed a price. Hawken is free to play, with players able to spend their real-world cash to avoid grinding and unlock weapons and gear faster. The only items that cannot be earned and must be bought using real-world currency are cosmetic unlocks.

Even if you checked out Hawken before (say, between 2012 and 2014 while it was under the care of Adhesive Games) the console version should feel different. There will be 30 playable mechs, nearly double the count from 2014, and new developer Reloaded Games has plans to implement a stronger narrative in the future. In the meantime though, just enjoy the pew-pew.-------heck out a few of the things HAWKEN on consoles has to offer:

    30+ mechs in multiple classes with more to come
    Players determine their method of mass destruction. Pilot lightweight assassin-like mechs or
    wade into the thick of action with heavy bruiser mechs.
    Exceptional customization
    Players can choose mechs with massive sniper rifles, powerful cannons, explosive rocket
    launchers and much, much more. Select from among an array of cosmetics, upgrades,
    enhancements, and consumables.
    6 game modes
    Players can play cooperatively or competitively in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Missile
    Assault, Siege, Coop Bot Destruction, and Coop vs AI Team Deathmatch modes.
    9 stunning environments
    Players can experience a planet in the depths of war by battling across decaying cityscapes,
    desert towns, post-apocalyptic wastelands, jungle outposts, and secret weapons facilities.
