Update: Starting on September 22, 2016, prices for PlayStation Plus memberships will change to $59.99 USD/ $69.99 CAD for twelve months and $24.99 USD/$29.99 CAD for three months. The monthly plan will change to $11.99 CAD in Canada, and remain $9.99 USD in the U.S. If you are a current member, the new prices will take effect if your membership renews on or after this date.

Now you can connect a PS4 controller to your PC or Mac

  • Buttons and sticks are exactly the same height as the original DualShock 4 controller.
  • The additional light bar doesn’t actually have a light of its own. It’s just a see-through strip on the touch pad that lets the original light shine through.
  • The battery is the same 1,000 mHa one used in the current DualShock 4. That said, shortman82 mentions that he has owned the condole for 24 hours, and the controller is still on two bars.
  • The controller comes with an option to select the communication method with the PS4, between USB and Bluetooth. It appears that this option is available only to the new version of the controller.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today the livestream channels for the upcoming press conference that will be held on September 13th in Tokyo, at 4 PM Japan Time (translating to 3 AM EDT, Midnight PDT, and 8 AM BST).

The conference will be available in English on Youtube, and you can find it embedded at the bottom of the post. It will last about 70 minutes.

A Japanese version will also be broadcasted on YouTube and on Nico Nico.

During the conference, Sony Interactive Entertainment will talk about its plans for the Japanese market, and will most probably showcase a large batch of local games.
