taigi jau oficialiai nauju Gears kurejai People Can Fly pilnai priklauso Epic'am. taigi visus reikalus galutinius del Gears kokybes priziures Epic tiesiogei. kas tik i gera manau. ;) is kureju isejo 3 nariai. visa kita komanda pilnai dirba toliau prie zaidimu.

People Can Fly is now an official Epic Games subsidiary. After three members of the team left, Epic purchased the remainder of the studio.

 

According to Epic Games VP Mark Rein:

 

“One of the things that got missed with that story was that we bought the rest of People Can Fly that we didn’t own. We didn’t announce that, so that was also part of it. But now we own it all. We had a controlling stake, but the owner still owned a fairly large piece of it.”

 

Yesterday, it was confirmed that Gears of War: Judgment creative lead Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki had departed from People Can Fly.

 

Speaking about their departure, Rein said:

 

“They left, they’re gonna do their own thing. They have something cool they’re gonna do, and we’ll be very supportive of it.”

Epic Games has confirmed initial launch quantities of Gears of War: Judgment will include a Games on Demand Xbox Live download token for the original Gears of War.

 

The developer has also announced the following pre-order incentives:

 

All who pre-order from participating retailers will receive the Hammerburst weapon in-game for multiplayer. Additional retail-exclusive pre-order incentives are also available here

GAMELock-In events were also given a bit more detail:

 

UK gamers can win the chance to go hands on with Kilo Squad early, through a series of exclusive “Gears of War: Judgment” ‘lock-in’ events throughout February in partnership with GAME.

The after-hours events, running nationwide from 3 – 27 February will give the UK gaming community an opportunity to experience the upcoming prequel to the franchise that has sold over 19 million copies worldwide.

That's the day the game launches in the US. It launches in the UK on Friday 22nd March. You'll need a Gold membership and 2GB of storage space to download OverRun.

 

Meanwhile, Epic announced a US-only offer to get three-day early access to the OverRun mode. Pre-order with GameStop and the multiplayer mode unlocks on 15th March.

 

Experience points will carry over for players who play Judgment in the first week following its US release.

 

OverRun is the new class-based competitive mode for Gears of War. Five-player teams play for objectives in a mode that has been likened to League of Legends.

 

Those who pre-order with GameStop get two exclusive skins, the Young Marcus character skin and the Lambent weapon skin. Pre-order from any retailer worldwide and you get the Classic Hammerburst.
