Game Arts is moving on from Ragnarok Odyssey to a new PlayStation Vita game titled “Dokuro”. Although the game had technically been announced a few weeks ago in a teaser video, we finally have concrete information.

According to the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation, Dokuro will have players involved in side-scrolling action. The game places you in the role of Dokuro who is on a mission to save a princess from prison.

Dokuro has the ability to transform into an “ikemen”. In Japan, this is known as a guy with good looks. Dokuro can use this form to his advantage so that he can hold the princess in his arms while performing attacks.

Gung-Ho will be publishing the game in Japan. It’s been confirmed that Dokuro will be available at retail.
