Well now, this is interesting. We've been hearing a lot of chatter about Best Buy and the iPad 2, rumors that the company was sitting on a giant pile of tablets ahead of some great event. Well, now we have an interesting tip that says the company will tap into that stock-pile ahead of a big Sunday launch. According to the above image, stores will, in general, have a minimum of three slates each -- which in many cases isn't going to be enough. Good, then, that the company has a guide on how to "minimize customer disappoints." BBY has earlier said that it is fulfilling reservations first, so if you're still holding your ticket but not a tablet this might be a good time to give your local big box a ring.

Geohot back to jailbreak scene again to jailbreak iPad 2. Now a challenge is being held between p0sixninja -the hacker behind Greenpois0n- to dump iPad 2 (A5) bootrom.



Till now threre's no jailbreak available for iPad 2, but you have to know that Comex -the hacker behin JailbreakMe- is working now on iPad 2 jailbreak via userland exploit.

Bootrom exploit is difficult to discover and develop than userland exploit, as Bootrom exploit is hardware-based exploit so that it can be fixed only with hardware upgrade which means that it will also work with upcoming iPhone 5, so we can conclude that bootrom exploit has long lifetime. Userland exploit is a software-based exploit so it's not time consuming compared with bootrom exploit but, its weakness that it can be easly patched on firmware upgrade.

Some new and little updates come from dev-team regarding iPad 2 jailbreak. As I told you earlier, that there's more than hacker is trying now to jailbreak the most difficult device iPad 2, there's already a competition between Geohot and Greenpois0n developer (P0sixninja) to dump iPad 2

iPad2 update: The iPad2 jailbreak remains under development. As you may know, the original exploit @comex developed in the first week of the iPad2 release was mysteriously fixed by Apple within days of its development. Partly because of this, don’t expect much public discussion of the iPad2 jailbreak until it’s actually finished and ready for release (and please avoid asking about it). In all liklihood, it will be a userland exploit like the first (unreleased) one, not dependent on bootrom dumps. The first one can’t be released even for those with the original 4.3 firmware due to legal (distribution) reasons.

GarageBand is an app that everyone who owns an iPad should at least try out, regardless of your musical talent, it’s just a superb example of an app that is brilliantly designed and built for a touch screen. Yet for those that do end up using it for more than just the occasional mess around, you may find that although the iPad’s touchscreen is better than a mouse for playing the drums or guitar, it is still a little bit lacking for what you want.

Well luckily for those of you who do find that, some clever folks have decided to start manufacturing rubberized drumsticks and guitar picks for GarageBand on the iPad. They’ve been designed to work on the iPad’s touchscreen by implementing electro-conductive rubber tips, which will also mean it should be perfectly fine to use without smashing the iPad’s nice glass screen!

The designers of the Pix and Stix are running a Kickstarter-esque funding round, where they are selling a pair of drumsticks and a pick for $14.95 in order to reach a funding goal of around $8000. Just like Kickstarter, if they don’t get the required funding, you can also rest assured you won’t end up paying for them. At this stage they think they will be selling the drumsticks and picks in the three colors of black, blue or gold metallic paint, although they note that these colors are subject to change.

Vienintelis Comex'as buvo pasidaręs 4,3 versijai ir tą pačią skylę Apple užtaisė. Daugiau absoliučiai jokių žinių, kad kam nors būtų pavykę. Nėra jokių duomenų pagal ką būtų galima prognozuoti. Absoliučiai nieko.

Na kol kas labai neaišku. Vienu sako, kad JB yra. Dev Team'as sako, kad nėra ir viskas fake. Bet kad "yra", ateina info irgi iš pasitikėjimą keliančių šaltinių.
