Hey look what I found out:

 

(I know this was on an other thread, but it got deleted for some reason. I posted it on this other thread,too. But the thread wasn't only about it.)

 

I asked myself the question "Why the Hell should this subdomain be faster than the normal site?"

 

Then I thought about Servers in Cloud:

 

"Maybe they added a Cloud Server to have more Speed and Storage..."

 

So i ran a traceroute (An other member of this forum had this idea, but I don't remember his name, I'm sorry)

 

Wikipedia says:

traceroute is a computer network tool used to determine the route taken by packets across an IP network.

This means, that it shows all Servers and Nodes your request gets through.

 

That's what my traceroute looks like:

 

(It may look different for you but the end is the most important and it should be the same.)

 

The end is:

ec2-174-129-115-208.compute-1.amazonaws.com

This is an ec2 Amazon Cloud Server.

Let's take a look at the Amazon site about it:

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is a web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers.

Exactly as I thought.

 

And now:

 

Let's visit the server: Go to http://ec2-174-129-115-208.compute-1.amazonaws.com/ (remember? it was our last traceroute server)

 

And guess what happens? We're on the Lockerz Ptzplace site!

 

It's hosted on an Amazon Server "In the Cloud" which are the same servers amazon uses, so everything should be fine this time.

 

If there is hard lag, you should try to go directly on amazons servers via:

 

http://ec2-174-129-115-208.compute-1.amazonaws.com/

 

(If you will get banned for cheating, i will not be responsible, but when the site isn't accessible and you try to get your PS3's there it will MAYBE work, if the site is unaccessible it will NOT work.)
