Katik žiurėjau 3D telikus, galit pasakyt kuo paprastas užrašas 3D skirias nuo 3D ready ?

3D Ready means that the television will possess a minimum refresh rate of 120 Hz and will be capable of displaying 3D content that is made available in the future. It does not guarantee what the display technology itself will be (It could use active shutter glasses, or polarized glasses, etc) but it does provide reassurance that the television is capable of displaying content in 3D.

The Catch

You’ve probably been waiting for it, so here it is! This is something that I think everyone of you guys should be aware of before you go looking to buy a 3D TV. Not all 3D Ready TVs come with a method to display 3D content. This is especially true of TVs and monitors sold in the last couple of years as 3D ready. These displays have the required refresh rate of 120 Hz or higher, but they lack any active shutterglass integration or the ability to use polarized glasses to view 3D content.

So how in the world do you use them for 3D content? Well, in the case of those particular displays you will need to buy separate hardware involving shutterglasses and a syncing unit that connects to the TV and also communicated with your glasses. This means additional costs for you. However with the new range of 3D Tvs that are on the horizon, this shouldn’t be something to worry about as almost all 3D Ready TVs should come with a syncing and 3D processing unit integrated with the TV along with a pair of complementary 3D glasses. However, consider yourself warned, so make sure to check up on exactly what your 3D Ready TV actually comes with as there might be some unscrupulous manufacturers who try to take advantage of customers in this manner.

Glasses Free 3D Gaming Coming From Toshiba in 2011

When I walked into Toshiba’s party at CES 2011, the last thing I expected was to see Final Fantasy XIII in full 3D on a 56” HD TV without glasses – however, that’s just what I got.

In fact, all I’d expected was the same old 3D TV technology, a few swanky tablet devices and some free booze. Yet, instead I got a full diaper-load of holy shit when I stepped into Toshiba’s party at TAO at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

There was no denying it – I was looking at Final Fantasy XIII, in 3D, with no glasses, on a 56″ Toshiba HD TV.

Better yet, I recorded it, albeit for no reason other than to show you, our readers, that glasses-free HD TV gaming is a thing that exists, and is a thing that is coming this year.

Obviously, the following video will not look 3D to you – but trust me, it is

There was no denying it – I was looking at Final Fantasy XIII, in 3D, with no glasses, on a 56″ Toshiba HD TV.

Better yet, I recorded it, albeit for no reason other than to show you, our readers, that glasses-free HD TV gaming is a thing that exists, and is a thing that is coming this year.

Obviously, the following video will not look 3D to you – but trust me, it is:

Note: This is a prototype television and not a production model.

Now, like you, I had a ton of questions for Toshiba when I saw this:

Is this the standard version of Final Fantasy XIII? Yes.

So, I don’t have to buy a whole new version of Final Fantasy XIII to play it in 3D? No.

Will other games be up-converted to 3D like this automatically by this TV? Yes.

How long before I can have this technology? Late 2011.

You sure? Yes, late 2011.

Positive? That’s the official word.

Will game developers start to develop games specifically for this technology? Probably.

-

The fuck does probably mean? I don’t care.

Hell, we all know Final Fantasy XIII kind of sucks – but for a brief moment in time, I was mesmerized by Square’s latest installment of their beloved franchise.

This was no small screen demo – this was a serious business 56″ HD TV – and the 3D was eye-scorchingly real.

It looked brilliant, and required no headgear in doing so. The future is here, the future is now, and I’ve seen it at CES.

To illustrate this, Nvidia brought out Trendy entertianment to show off their new action-RPG Dungeon Defenders – which runs on Unreal 3. First, they showed it being played on PC – then they showed it being played with PSMove and then they showed it being played on the LG Optimus 2X. What was even more impressive however, was the fact that all three players were in the same game. The PC, PS3 and Droid players were all in the same multiplayer game of Dungeon Defenders at the same time – playing with each other. Now, I don’t know about you – but I think that’s pretty fucking cool

Samsung, the multinational hardware manufacture, has unveiled a new line of third-dimensional LED monitors. Using “smart design”, the SA950 and SA750 are the first computer monitors to take advantage of the companies proprietary third-dimensional tech.

Both the monitors include a unique aesthetic design, especially the SA950 which features a wide foot-stand that attaches the panel on the far right side. But, on the other hand, the SA750 retains a transitional monitor design. According to Samsung, both include a WLED-backlit, which is a special illumination tech, and magic angle support, allowing for a larger three-dimensional viewing range.

Sony's going all 3D everything this CES, and that includes all the content you're creating, too. They're pumping out 3D-ready camcorders with glasses-free displays, including a 1080p 3D Bloggie that'll go for about $200.

The Bloggie 3D shoots 1080p in three dimensions with two sensors, and it's got a 2.4" glasses-free LCD screen on the back for you to check out your handiwork. So you only have to look dorky when you're viewing your home movies, not when you're shooting them. The 3D model is joined by a Bloggie Duo, which takes a page out of the Dual View book by adding a second LCD screen on the front of the camera.

The big bad 3D camcorder seen above will have dual image sensors, dual lenses, 10x zoom, and a 3.5" glasses-free display. It'll go for about $1500.

SONY INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE 3D CAMCORDERS AND CAMERAS

LAS VEGAS (CES Booth #14200), Jan. 5, 2010 – Sony today unveiled its new Handycam® camcorders, Bloggie® cameras and Cyber-shot® digital still cameras with powerful image sensors, new innovative features and strong core video and still photo capture capabilities that make it even easier to get the best shot-even in 3D.

"With these new camcorders and cameras, Sony continues to transform ideas into reality, imagination into real-world products," said Brennan Mullin, senior vice president of the digital imaging group.

New digital imaging products and accessories will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES International Convention). In the Handycam category, Sony will showcase the world's first "Double Full HD" 3D consumer camcorder (HDR-TD10) with a glasses-free 3D LCD touch panel display, camcorders with a built-in projector (HDR-PJ50V, HDR-PJ30V and HDR-PJ10) and a video enthusiast-level consumer camcorder with hallmark Handycam features (HDR-CX700V).

In the MP4 video category, the company will display Bloggie 3D-the world's first HD 3D pocket camera (MHS-FS3)-an innovative model with two lenses, two image sensors, and stereo microphone that captures easy-to-share 3D or 2D video and photos. You can view 3D images without glasses on the built-in LCD.

In the Cyber-shot category, the company will feature the world's first digital still cameras with 1080/60p HD video capability (DSC-TX100V) and 3D Still Image mode with a single lens and imager (DSC-TX10, DSC-HX7V, DSC-WX10, and DSC-WX9). These new top models also add a 16.2 megapixel "Exmor R" CMOS sensor and one model adds a touch screen with OLED.

Additionally, Sony will highlight the new DVDirect® (VBD-MA1), which offers easy, one-touch transfer of high definition video and images to Blu-ray Disc™ media.

High-Definition Camcorders

Along with significant improvements in the entire Handycam camcorder family, three new additions bring 3D technology, a video projector and enthusiast solutions to Sony's industry-leading high definition lineup.

Adding to Sony's breadth of 3D products, the HDR-TD10 is the world's first "Double Full HD" 3D consumer camcorder. The camcorder employs an integrated dual lens system, which includes two of each key component-double Sony G Lenses, double "Exmor R" CMOS image sensors, and double BIONZ® image processors. The dual recording system allows 3D content to be recorded in 1920x1080 Full HD resolution. The content can be viewed with 3D active glasses on 3D-capable HDTVs or in Full HD 2D on non-3D displays. In addition, the 3D footage can be viewed in 3D without glasses on the camcorder's 3.5-inch Xtra Fine LCD™ 3D touch screen. Providing 64 GB of flash memory, the HDR-TD10 will be available in April for about $1,500.

Handycam camcorders with a built-in video projector offer the ultimate playback experience, even on the go. A compact, LED-based projector is built into the 3-inch flip-out LCD panel, maintaining the camcorder's compact size and allowing video and images to be projected at up to 60 inches (diagonally; when projected 18 feet away) onto walls, ceilings or other flat surfaces.

Combined with powerful stereo speakers with Clear Phase™ and S-Master™ digital amplifiers, the integrated projector provides a whole new way to enjoy video playback without needing to plug into an HDTV. The HDR-PJ50V with a 220GB Hard Disk Drive will be available in April for about $1000, while the HDR-PJ30V with 32GB of flash memory and HDR-PJ10 with 16GB of flash memory will be available in March for about $950 and $700, respectively.

Sony also introduced the video enthusiast-level HDR-CX700V consumer camcorder with hallmark Handycam features-"Exmor R" CMOS image sensor, Wide Angle Sony G Lens, Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization with Active Mode, Event Browse, Highlight Playback-and a wealth of new technologies borrowed from Sony's professional products. The camera boasts film-like shooting with 24p native recording, along with CinemaTone presets, as well as advanced features such as Expanded Focus, Zebra and Peaking settings and other manual controls. The newly developed 16:9 "Exmor R" CMOS sensor realizes a wider angle of view and higher megapixels for video and photos. With 96 GB of flash memory, the HDR-CX700V will be available in March for about $1,300.

On the other end of the video spectrum, Sony's affordable and fun Bloggie HD camera line welcomes three models that each brings distinct value to the category.

The world's first HD 3D pocket camera,* the MHS-FS3 "Bloggie 3D" model boasts two lenses, two image sensors and two stereo speakers to capture incredible 3D or 2D video and photos.

Recorded content from the MHS-FS3 can be played back in 3D without glasses on the camera's 2.4-inch LCD screen or on any 3D capable HDTV with glasses.

The wonderfully simple HD camera lineup also offers a dual-screen option dubbed the Bloggie Duo camera (MHS-FS2). The slim camera features two vibrant LCD screens-2.7-inch on the back and 2-inch on the front-for new ways to capture yourself and others in full HD video or 5.1-megapixel photos. The Bloggie Duo camera has a built-in LED light and comes in four fashionable colors including violet, green, pink and white.

An entry model completes the trio of Bloggie camera introductions, offering on-the-go video lovers a smart, pocket device at a low price point. The MHS-FS1 sports an ultra compact, lightweight design with a large 2.7-inch LCD screen and comes in black and white.

The Bloggie (MHS-FS1) and Bloggie Duo (MHS-FS2) cameras, both with 4GB of internal memory, will be available in March for about $150 and $170, respectively. The Bloggie 3D camera (MHS-FS3) with 8GB of internal memory will be available in April for about $250. Cyber-shot Digital Still Cameras

Sony has designed five new innovative 16.2-megapixel Cyber-shot cameras (DSC-TX100V, DSC-TX10, DSC-HX7V, DSC-WX10 and DSC-WX9) that are the world's first compact digital still cameras to include 3D Still Image mode for taking 3D images using only one lens and imager. They also have innovative Dual Rec (record) technology for taking still photos during video capture.

The DSC-TX100V camera is the world's first compact digital still camera to include full HD (1920 x 1080/60p) video capability for smooth playback while recording action shots such as sports.

It is also the first Cyber-shot with a 3.5-inch touch screen with OLED that provides deeper blacks and more vibrant color contrast while being thinner than most LCDs. Additionally, the DSC-WX10 camera is one of few digital still cameras to include a high speed linear autofocus feature that provides quick and more precise focusing similar to the speed of a DSLR camera.

The DSC-TX10 camera is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof and freeze-proof compliant, offers HD movie and 3D photo capture, plus Intelligent Sweep Panorama, an "Exmor R" CMOS sensor that promises crisp clear photos even in low light and a 3-inch touch screen.

With Sony's "Exmor R" Back illuminated CMOS sensor technology, these models provide excellent low-light performance, up to 10fps burst shooting and the Intelligent Sweep Panorama™ feature. These cameras with CMOS sensors will range from $220 to $380 and will be available in March.

Some of Sony's most affordable full-featured point-and-shoot cameras to-date, Sony today also announced new models with CCD sensors in its W, H, and T-series Cyber-shot lines including models DSC-W510, DSC-W530, DSC-W560, DSC-W570, DSC-T110 and DSC-H70.

The all new W-series models feature Sweep Panorama mode plus a bevy of Sony innovations including SteadyShot® image stabilization that reduces blur, iAuto mode that automatically optimizes camera settings plus Face Detection and Smile Shutter™ technology, making it easy and affordable to get the best shot. The DSC-W530 and DSC-W570 will be available in February and the DSC-W510 and DSC-W560 will be available in March, ranging in price from about $110 to about $180.

Sony also introduced a fresh, sleek addition to its world-class all-touch-screen T-series cameras (DSC-T110) that combine the must-have ultra slim design factor with all the cutting-edge features the in-crowd demands.

Starting with the entry-level DSC-T110, the T-models feature a 3-inch LCD touch screen, Sweep Panorama mode and 720p HD movie capture. The DSC-T110 camera will be available in March for about $220.

Sony also introduced a new 10x optical zoom Cyber-shot camera (DSC-H70). With a 16-megapixel CCD sensor, it has the innovative Sweep Panorama™ feature, 720p HD movie recording, Optical SteadyShot™ and a 25mm wide lens. The DSC-H70 will be available in March for about $230.

Digital Imaging Accessories

Sony today debuted its next-generation multi-function Blu-ray Disc™/DVD recorder, which can easily transfer high-definition AVCHD™ home videos as well as digital photos to Blu-ray Disc/DVD media. It can also record standard-definition home videos on tape media to DVD via an analog input-all without using a computer.

The new VBD-MA1 model has a 2.7-inch color LCD screen for previewing video or up to six digital photos at a time, and its overall size is almost 20 percent slimmer than the current model (VRD-MC6).

The VBD-MA1 has a wide compatibility with Sony's Handycam camcorders, Cyber-shot cameras, α cameras, select non-Sony camcorders and almost all video tape devices such as VHS, miniDV and Hi8. Also, the VBD-MA1 model can connect to a PC via USB2.0 and be used as an external BD Writer.

Blu-ray Disc media and DVD discs can be played back on compatible Blu-ray Disc devices, including players and computer drives, as well as PlayStation®3 (PS3™) computer entertainment systems. However, Blu-ray Disc media and AVCHD DVD cannot be played on DVD players.

Up to 19 hours and 20 minutes of HD video or up to 6,000 digital pictures can be recorded on a 50GB double layer Blu-ray Disc media. The new VBD-MA1 model maintains Dolby Digital® 5.1 surround sound as well as 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios with compatible camcorders.

The DVDirect® VBD-MA1 recorder will be available for about $300 at Sony Style® stores and other major retailers around the country in March.

AVCHD Movie Software

Sony today introduced a new AVCHD movie application based on the Playstation®3 system called Filmy, which stands for "my film."

Designed to view your AVCHD files in various ways, Filmy provides quick search and easy playback of all your treasured AVCHD video memories on PS3®. It will be available as a download application to the PS3™ system from the PlayStation Network Store in February 2011.

Bifocal and progressive lenses suck. They're old tech. Like, Benjamin Franklin old. PixelOptics take a more 21st century approach—liquid crystal lenses that adjust their focus in a fraction of a second, for differing focuses when you need them.

All that's required to shift the glasses—which can be fitted into any design of frame—is a tap to their touch-sensitive side. A simple electrical impulse changes the liquid crystal, instantly—enabling or disabling a shapeshifting reading zone in the lenses. Or, for an I-can't-believe-I'm-this-impressed-by-glasses moment, slide your finger along the side of the specs to active a tiny gyroscope that'll adjust the focus as you move your head.

It's a subtle shift that's hard to appreciate without, you know, wearing the glasses. But as you can see from my attempt to test the incredible lenses (look at the shifting pattern on the gent's tie!), it works. PixelOptics hopes to bring the glasses to market by April, but really, as long as they're out by the time I hit 40, I'm content. And I'm hoping the price will have come down from $1,200 [PixelOptics]

Iwata: GameCube Could Do 3D

Nuotrauka

Nintendo president reveals working 3D tech dropped due to cost of screens; GBA SP could do it too.

Satoru Iwata, president and CEO of Nintendo, has revealed that its GameCube console had circuitry for 3D compatibility.

Iwata revealed that Nintendo’s 2001 console was capable of displaying 3D images if attached to a special LCD screen, and it even had a functional three-dimensional version of launch title Luigi’s Mansion. However the prohibitive cost of the screens at the time led the firm to decide there was no market for the technology at the time.

Iwata also says the firm had a working 3D version of the Game Boy Advance SP that did not require glasses, but the screen had a very low resolution and the project never made it out of the research lab.

Nintendo’s president makes the revelation in the latest in the Iwata Asks series, translated by Andriasang, in which Iwata, Shigeru Miyamoto and Mother creator Shigesato Itoi lift the lid on the company’s history with 3D as the release of its 3DS handheld draws near.

It has been working on 3D for 20 years, when Miyamoto and Iwata worked on Grand Prix II 3D Hot Rod for the Famicom Disk System, which was played with goggles. But Nintendo’s best-known foray into the third dimension was Virtual Boy, its ill-fated system released in 1995 and discontinued a year later following poor sales.

Miyamoto, who describes Virtual Boy as a “fun toy”, believes the machine should have been pitched as a niche product rather than a traditional gaming system. Iwata admits Game Boy creator Gunpei Yokoi’s console was a commercial failure.

It appears Nintendo’s long-standing work in 3D was largely driven by former president and CEO, the late Hiroshi Yamauchi, who would always ask his developers: “can you make it jump out?”

Nintendo’s hotly anticipated 3DS is expected to get a Western release in March, though no date has been announced. The firm is holding a press event in Amsterdam on January 19 when it will confirm its plans.

Orb BR software comes to PS3 and other Blu-ray players, 1080p streaming for $20

Nuotrauka

The tiny, coaster-like design of the Orb TV is hard not to like, but the lack of HD output is mighty tough to stomach these days. Plus, who wants another doo-dad cluttering up their entertainment center? Thankfully, the next product from Orb is much smaller: a disc. You pop the software into your internet-connected PS3 or Blu-ray player and magically it turns into a top-shelf media streamer. You'll have connectivity with Netflix, Hulu Plus, Comedy Central, Amazon VoD, and naturally YouTube. The discs are set to ship in February for $19.99, which puts even the $99 Orb TV to shame, but we're curious to see how the performance is.

ir manau bus geros lenktynes siemet tarp kompaniju kurio CPU geresnis ,galingesnis bei maziau kaista. o mes is to gausim gerus kiseninius daikciukus.

Man geriau Konsole butu

nu jo kisenine konsole, PSP2 tipo, bet tada reik ir tel,o cia butu viskas viename, tik valdymo nera tikro, bet losti touch zaidimus jo ir nereikia. nesakau kad cia hardcore geimeriam nereikia konsoles, del keliu zaidimu aisku reikia, bet kas jei androidas turetu draiverius kokiam wireless pulteliui ane, pajungus prie HDTV ,lostum su pulteliu and didelio teliko. o iseidamas is namu tai isidetum tiesiog i kisene. na kad ir be pultelio. as uz vistiek. mano pc atrodo kaip is akmens amziaus palyginus su galia kuria sitie kiseniniai monstrai turi. turiu omeni matmenis, sunaudojama elektra ir galia palyginus va tokio Tegra2 daikciuko. jeigu galima portint pc zaidimus be dideliu problemu tai tik valio. man interneto narsymui visa pc jau itouch atstojo, o cia tai isvis.

Sony Working On Visor-Like Headset For TV-Free 3D

Nuotrauka

Sony is working on a visor-like 3D display currently nicknamed "Headman" that will allow the user to play games in 3D without a TV.

Speaking at CES in Vegas last night, the company's executive deputy president Hiroshi Yoshioka admitted he's been using the device to play Gran Turismo 5. "Nobody - not even my wife - interrupted me, so I could get the highest score," he said.

Sony has not released any details regarding release date or price. All we know is the visor contains two small displays (one for each eye) and built-in headphones.

butent tai ka as galvojau kad tokie turetu eit su paciom konsolem netgi. senai reikejo jau, VR akiniu duodanciu HD ir dar jeigu 3D tai isvis. aplamai keista kaip sita tehnologija isvis niekur nejuda. as net neziureciau i TV puse turint konsole ir jei galetum tiesiog uzsidet VR ir niekam netrukdyt,ir tau niekas netrukdytu.
